Actually tonight.
After the kids went to bed (although as I write this part – my 3 year old is calmly “yelling” from the kid’s bedroom that he needs me to do Reiki on his knees).
.
.
.
Ok now that I’m back.
Yes I went to do the Reiki.
Yes my other kiddo needed extra kisses and found a sock in her bed… so there’s that.
Anyways.
I wrote this tonight.
And I wanted to share as my first post.
MISSION: BLOG DAILY
Create The Naptime Boss Blog
Every Night I write
Just write
No expectations.
What if I just started to write?
I become a “blogger”.
I write every day.
I don’t worry about perfection or organization or what comes out.
I tell stories.
I give my thoughts and my feelings.
I talk about struggles and triumphs.
What if I just did this?
For me?
For you?
For moms around the world?
For the collective?
I started my blog on 11/11/2020.
I started MY movement on 11/11/2020.
I commit to writing every day for ONE YEAR.
Every day.
It doesn’t matter how long the post is.
I commit to writing every day for one year.
Whether it’s in the morning.
The night.
At naptime.
While the kids are quarantined in their playroom (shoot… that word doesn’t feel right… because well.. That hits wayyyyy too close to home these days doesn’t it?).
WHENEVER.
I write.
I tell my story.
I commit to something that I have been wanting to do for a LONG time.
Write.
Consistently.
Maybe this will become a book.
Maybe it won’t.
Maybe this will start a movement.
Maybe it won’t.
But I have something to say.
And I want to say it.
I want to YELL it (ok…I won’t yell it – that’s reserved for the kids…I joke… ehhhh maybe not… ok it happens alright?! I’m not perfect!).
I want to become a better writer.
I want to become a better storyteller.
I want to BECOME.
Be in the act of becoming every single day.
I want to inspire others.
Inspire mommas to follow their hearts.
Follow their dreams.
Do what they love.
BE what they love.
Choose to take CHARGE of their lives.
I want to BE.
The messiness.
The perfection.
And everything in between.
I choose to be a naptime boss.
And this is my story.
